§ 34-33. Restrictions.

No person shall deposit, throw or place any solid waste in any street, tree lawn, alley or any other place within the village except as herein provided. No solid waste of any kind may be placed on any street, alley, tree lawn or any place within the village unless it is in accordance with regular weekly schedules providing for the collection of solid waste, as prepared by the village department of public works, or, is in accordance with the spring or fall cleanup schedule as set forth in that schedule prepared by the village department of public works (hereinafter referred to collectively as the pick up schedule), all of which shall be kept available for public inspection at the office of the village clerk during regular business hours of that office. Any person placing solid waste on any street, tree lawn, alley or any other place within the village not in accordance with the pick up schedule shall be subject to fines as further set forth in this article.

No person shall allow any solid waste to collect or lie upon any property owned by or occupied by him, her, or them, in such a manner that it attracts flies, vermin or rodents, or emits noxious odors, or is unsightly, or may blow or scatter on adjoining lands or otherwise offends the public health, safety, comfort or repose of the public.
