§ 40-187. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Revenues and net revenues mean as defined in section 3 of Public Act No. 94 of 1933 (MCL 141.103).

System means the complete and unified sanitary sewer facilities serving the village, encompassing both the village system and the county sewage disposal system no. 5 (Village of Berrien Springs), including all sewers, pumps, lift stations, treatment facilities, and all other facilities used or useful in the collection, treatment and disposal of domestic, commercial or industrial wastes, including all appurtenances thereto and including all extensions and improvements thereto which may be acquired.
